Farid Tagdirov

Neurosurgeon Farid Tagdirov Vahid oglu was born in Georgia.
In 2002, he graduated from Azerbaijan State Medical University with honors, and in 2002-2003, he completed an internship in neurosurgery at the Republican Neurosurgical Hospital.
He served in the front line and provided medical care to wounded soldiers.
In 2005, he returned to the Republican Neurosurgical Hospital.

Farid Tagdirov attended advanced training courses in Russia, Turkey, and Germany.

He performs operations in all areas of neurosurgery:
– Disc herniations and protrusions in the spinal column
– Spinal trauma
– Tumors in the spinal column
– Vertebral displacements, spondylolisthesis
– Osteoporosis and related fractures
– Inflammatory diseases of the spinal column
– Congenital spinal diseases (tension spinal cord syndrome, diastolematomyelia, lipomeningocele, etc.)
– Brain tumors
– Traumatic brain injuries
– Hematomas
– Inflammatory diseases of the brain (abscesses)
– Hydrocephalus
– Congenital hernias of the brain, etc.

In 2020-2022, Dr. Farid Tagdirov continued his professional activities as the chief physician of the Republican Neurosurgical Hospital.

Currently, Farid Tagdirov works as a neurosurgeon at the Hospital of the State Security Service.

He is the executive secretary of the Azerbaijan Association of Neurosurgeons.
