About us
“Azerbaijan Association of Neurosurgeons” The public union has been established to contribute to the development of neurosurgery science and the growing progress of healthcare in our country. The main objective of the union is to promote the initiatives implemented by the state in the field of healthcare development, support scientific research in the field of neurosurgery, enhance the knowledge of specialists, and organize awareness-raising activities related to modern methods and innovations. Additionally, it aims to facilitate information and experience exchange, foster cooperation with international and foreign medical and scientific organizations, ensure access to new information for young neurosurgeons and students aspiring to become neurosurgeons, and provide them with motivation.
It was founded on October 13, 2023.

Chairman
Neurosurgeon, Dr. Rovshan Khalilzadeh, completed his clinical residency at the Faculty of Medicine and Prevention of Azerbaijan Medical University from 1989 to 1995, and then at the Department of Neurosurgery of Azerbaijan Medical University from 1995 to 1999.
Deputy Chairman
After completing his secondary education, he was admitted to the Azerbaijan Medical University in 1999 and successfully graduated in 2005. In 2006-2007, Dr. Tural Rahimli validated his medical diploma in the Republic of Turkey...
Neurosurgeon dr.Farid Tagdirov Vahid oglu was born in Georgia. In 2002, he graduated from Azerbaijan State Medical University with honors, and in 2002-2003, he completed an internship in neurosurgery at the Republican Neurosurgical Hospital. He served in the front line and provided medical care to wounded soldiers. In 2005, he returned to the Republican Neurosurgical Hospital.
